The Test Tribe is Asia’s largest community of software testers turned EdTech startup. Founded in 2018, it began as a movement to give the craft of testing the recognition it deserves. Dedicated to upskilling and empowering testing professionals, The Test Tribe offers expert courses, memberships, cohorts, offline mixers, online spaces, and global events. With over 270 events—including conferences, hackathons, and meetups—it has connected and supported more than 120,000 testers across 130+ countries, fostering collaboration, learning, and growth.

Challenges and Objectives

The primary challenge was to reposition and redesign The Test Tribe’s brand to embody confidence, expressiveness, and cohesion. Our objective was to craft a visual identity that not only reflects the dynamic and evolving nature of their community but also seamlessly supports their diverse communications—spanning events, programs, and services. The new identity needed to be adaptable and impactful across all touchpoints, reinforcing their position as Asia's largest software testing community and a forward-thinking EdTech startup.

We successfully created an identity that is distinctive on its own while being flexible and cohesive enough to serve as an umbrella for a diverse range of offerings and events. Unified by the same mission, the identity not only provided a strong foundation but also withstood the true test when they transitioned into an EdTech startup.
