Tea N Me faced the challenge of breaking into the crowded herbal tea market and differentiating itself from long-standing competitors. The startup needed a compelling narrative to connect with customers emotionally and stand out on retail shelves. Aarts crafted a brand story rooted in the idea that Tea N Me accompanies individuals through every mood and occasion of the day, perfectly aligning with the brand’s name. The logo captured the dual essence of the brand: a premium tea experience expressed through the elegant Aguero font, and a personal, intimate connection represented by a cursive style inspired by the handwriting of the owner’s grandfather. The solution didn’t just stop at storytelling. Each package design used unique grainy, textured, hand-drawn illustrations to reflect the specific mood of the tea flavor, creating an instant emotional and visual connection with consumers. The result was a brand identity that was not only memorable but also award-winning—the packaging earned 'India's Best Design Award 2023' in the Best Packaging Category. The cohesive design and eCommerce development further enhanced the brand’s presence, helping Tea N Me establish a loyal customer base and compete confidently with industry giants.
The biggest challenge in illustrating the designs was to keep it consistent across so many moods. I am glad that it came out well. Receiving India's Best Design Award for my work was quite fulfilling!
